Fly Fishing Travel with Wildcat Creek Outfitters

Wildcat Creek Outfitters travel service was started in 2000 and has now grown to host several destinations a year. We host trips to Belize, Mexico, Bahamas, Chile, Montana and other regional locations. We are also working on some new warm water destinations as well. Keep checking back.

We have a criteria for each destination that we fish. The lodge and the fishing has to rise to meet our standards, as follow:

  • The food must be great, not just good. We grant no exceptions. We have had great fishing at lodges and not gone back because the food was not up to par. When you pay the kind of money a lodge charges today the food should be exceptional!
  • The lodging must be clean. We realize that some destinations are at in the middle of nowhere and the critter populations are considerable. With this in mind a good lodge keeps a steady eye on these kinds of problems.
  • Guides and Lodge Staff: We rarely have had problems in this area but still it is important to make sure the staff is taking care of our customers. If there is ever a problem on a hosted trip we are there to take care of it for you. We never put our customers in a position where they have to confront a guide or lodge management.
  • Lodge Manager and Head Guide: Each lodge has one or the other or maybe both. It is important that the manager or head guide makes the guides show up on time and take care of their clients.

We also work in conjunction with Wild on the Fly travel to bring you the best in fly fishing destinations. We have access to a list of all most every fly fishing lodge in the world. Nearly anywhere in the world you would like to go we have a lodge and contact.

UPCOMING TRIPS:

Montana: Five Rivers Lodge: June 23rd-28th
We are now collecting deposits for the trout trip to South West Montana. Fish the Big Hole, Beaverhead, Ruby, Jefferson Rivers as well as McCoy’s spring creek. We visited Five Rivers last fall and believe it to be the best trout lodge available in the lower 48. The fishing is fabulous and the lodge is even better. Five Rivers has accumulated 3 different private access, leased areas in the Beaverhead and McCoy’s spring creek. We have several spots open and are getting the trip nailed down. If you would like more info give us a call. We will travel on the 23rd and fish the 24th-27th and travel back on the 28th. We take credit cards for your convenience. Check out the lodge at www.fiveriverslodge.com

Chile: Cinco Rios Lodge: February 13th-21st and 20th-28th, 2009
We have two weeks next year and if you have received our past emails you know this has become our favorite trip. We are taking 24 people next year and are already getting commitments. This trip is filling up quicker than we anticipated and if you are planning on going next year don’t wait very long or you are going to be disappointed. The cost of the trip is 3675.00 and we require a 1000.00 deposit to hold your spot. We break this down into 3 payments instead of two. Give us a call and get your spot. As usual we take credit cards for your convenience. Go to www.cincorioschile.com As you will notice on the website the lodge is full for 2009 and we have two of those weeks. This is a hot lodge and a hot location. If you have considered going you better get on this trip!!!
