The two tip system has been done before but not in this way. For the most part two tip rods have been more about a spare tip than a tip that changes the rod action. With this rod primarily being a saltwater rod it adds to the possibilities of uses other than saltwater.

The other intriguing thing about the possibilities of this rod is its freshwater use as well. These rods are all 9 foot and have a 6, 7 and 8 weights. So the ability to use the A tip to soften the rod for freshwater fishing is a huge factor for this rod. The 6 will be a solid choice for streamer fishing and the 7 and 8 will be terrific bass rods.
