This is a lighter version of the 12T. It weighs in at 10.1 ounces but has the same backing capacity of the 12T. This is a good option as a 8/9 reel for a spey rod or again a good choice as a big game/Tarpon reel. If you are someone who wants as light a reel as you can get for a as big a rod as possible this is a good choice.
