When Patagonia set out to build the Rio Gallegos Wader they took their time and looked at every possible thing they could think off to put into it. Some high end waders add things that don't really do anything but make the wader more expansive for the consumer. Patagonia said let's build a terrific high end wader that gives the consumer value just not an expansive wader with bells and whistles. The end result is the Rio Gallegos wader.

I have to say we think this may be the most sensible wader anyone has ever made. It has features that actually make your fishing experience better. Comfy in cold conditions with Morino Wool in the feet and removable knee pads, can you believe that removable knee pads!!! Oh yea don't forget convertible to hip waders as well.
