Sage Fly Reels

Sage has always been known as a builder of premium rods. They have had reels for many years and those reels in the past have been greatly underrated. Those reels really didn’t differentiate themselves from other reels. As the great Peter Sellers once said NOT ANYMORE!!!

What Sage has done is take an already fantastic drag system and build the coolest most functional reels anyone has built in years. The 3800CF, 4500CF and 4500 series reels mark a new way of thinking about reels and spools. The 1600, 1800 and the fabulous 2000 series reels represent a high quality standard as well as highly functional large arbor designs. Not to mention the1600, 1800 and the 2000 spools are interchangeable. The 6000 series is an amazing tricked out reel that hardcore gear heads will flip out over. To be clear we believe this lineup represents the best all around improvement for any reels company out there. We are using these reels in our guide service now and I will with out a doubt have Sage reels with me when travelling to Chile, Mexico, the American West and other countries we will visit this year.
