In the ever expanding travel department Marc has a trip coming up we think many of you will be interested in. He has but together a really cool trip to Florida for kayak/fisherman. He will be taking a kayak fishing trip to the Florida Everglades on Nov 13-15. If saltwater is an interest to you and shallow water sight fishing is something you would like to try this is a great way to get started. You can expect to fish water with shots at Redfish, Sea Trout, Snook, Jacks and although rare a baby Tarpon.
This is an all inclusive camping trip that includes all camping equipment, food and fishing kayaks. The only thing you will need is you’re fishing gear and personal items. We have been to this trip to the Everglades and this is not a backcountry, sleep in the swamp type camping trip. You will stay on one of the sandy keys on the edge of the Everglades looking out on the Gulf of Mexico and paddle or boat into the backcountry during the day. The outfitter will supply tents, sleeping bags, air mattresses and everything that you might need to make your trip enjoyable and comfortable. This is a remote location that is 10- 20 miles from any civilization and for that reason the guide will have a satellite phone for emergencies.
The dates are November 13, 14 and 15th and the cost is $795.00 which includes all food, kayaks and camping equipment you will need. Marc has been researching great kayak travel destinations over the last couple of years and this is one he has fleshed out well. This is also a value trip most everyone can afford.
The Itinerary
