Scott Gobel (Head Guide):
Scott had the good fortune of growing up in Crawfordsville, Indiana near Sugar Creek. He has fished Sugar Creek his whole life. Scott’s real expertise is streamer fishing and he has developed many flies for Smallmouth Bass. The rattle minnow is one of the coolest flies anyone has ever developed and it really catches fish. Chad Miller (Owner):
Chad is the founder of Wildcat Creek Outfitters and has been guiding since 1996. He has developed flies like the Wildcat Creek Streamer, Sugar Creek Crawdad and Chad’s Hellgrammite. Chad, along with friend Jerry Darkes, created a video series called “Guide Patterns”. Chad’s video is called “Guide Patterns for Smallmouth Bass”. Chad’s guide schedule is very limited these days but he still likes to spend a few days a month rowing a boat. Eric Corya (Guide/Shop Staff):
Eric is another local guy who grew up in Lafayette and now resides in Zionsville. Eric is guiding his clients on very unique Carp trips on Lake Michigan. He has also developed a couple of must have Carp flies and has logged over 1000 Carp on a fly rod and isn’t done yet! Eric also guides on Sugar Creek and has spent years getting to know the water exceptionally well.

Mike Exl ( Guide/Shop Staff):

Mike started working for us couple years ago. Mike has been fly fishing most of his life. He has traveled to destinations such as the Bahamas, Alaska, and even Chile.  Mike is one of our guides and also instructs our fly tying classes. Mike is also in to spey fishing, and spends a great deal of time chasing steelhead with two-handed and switch rods. Mike can be reached at mike@wildcatcreekoutfitters.com

Marc Dixon (Co-owner)

This past year Marc mergered Eagle Creek Kayaks with Wildcat Creek Outfitters. Not only is Marc our kayak expert, but he is also knowledgeable about fly fishing.  Marc also hosts several of our trips each year. If you have any questions on kayaks Marc is the guy to talk to.
